: Pala Kids (2013 – 2016) | A long term documentary project, shot on black and white film, focused on kids in the neighbourhood Palenstein (“Pala”), in the city of Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. There are many households with a low income or that receive unemployment benefits (welfare) and little job opportunities. Instead of focusing on these negative aspects the main focus of the project lies on the kids that live and play in this neighbourhood.
