• Installation View - 'Gi Tori' - CBK Zuidoost With the interdisciplinary installation 'Gi Tori' Linger critizises the former colonial education system of The Netherlands. In Suriname, the former colony of The Netherlands, the Dutch language was used as the official language and Sranantongo was seen as inferior. The installation can be seen as a decolonization “statement-piece” that pays homage to the use of Sranantongo.
